Handmade in Britain (Edinburgh)

Handmade Edinburgh is a three day selling event and will take place at The Hub from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th October 2016 (Private View evening on Thursday 27th October 2016). Handmade Edinburgh sets very high standards, representing the finest contemporary craft makers from Scotland and beyond. Selected by an experienced team, Handmade Edinburgh is open to makers & artists resident in the UK working to the highest level in ceramics, glass, textiles, jewellery, metal, wood, stone, mixed media, leather, furniture, paper, prints, fashion and sculpture. Makers don’t need to live in Scotland or be Scottish to take part in the event, although we would like to encourage applications from makers in Scotland.

Stands start from as little as £400+vat and will be allocated on an ongoing basis so we encourage makers to apply early to avoid disappointment.

The funding has been received for Enamoured 2016.
This prestigious  exhibition will open on 11th October 2016 at the Goldsmiths Centre, London then travelling on to Birmingham and beyond.

Handmade in Britain and Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew are excited to announce the second year of the international craft event, Handmade at Kew.

Taking place from Thursday 6th October to Sunday 9th October 2016, this exciting consumer event is set to become the leading international showcase for contemporary crafts.

Handmade at Kew welcomes applications from individual makers, groups and galleries of contemporary craft working in the following disciplines: furniture, metal, ceramics, glass, jewellery, textiles, woodwork, paper and sculpture.

We have a fantastic programme with plenty of opportunities to explore, create and buy over the three days. Within the festival grounds there are Makers’ Marquees hosting over 100 top UK contemporary craftspeople showing and selling their work.
