Evangeline Long

Evangeline is recreating a recently acquired garden and this year it has been her inspiration. Two events stimulated the source of Lockdown Garden. Covid 19 created the need to search for imagery near to her home, the garden becoming an obvious location. 2020 has also been a remarkable year for every variety of plant life with abundant blossom and later, fruits and berries. Early spring, blossoming trees seen against the full pink moon were the stimulus for a series of panels. Later the great variety of shapes and range of colour and textures in the garden supplied her with the stimulus for Kaleidoscope.
