Sally Lees
Sally Lees is an experienced jeweller and has worked from her studio at Cockpit Arts in London for the past twenty three years. She worked mainly with aluminium and silver for a number of years and projects include creating a collection for the Houses of Parliament to celebrate women’s suffrage and making plaques for Camden Council Business Awards. She has been featured in many publications and magazines. During the pandemic she was awarded an Arts Council Grant to develop her professional practice. She used the grant to explore and experiment with enamels. Her inspiration comes from her love of the Mediterranean islands and their coastlines with their deep and shallow waters and their solitary beaches. Her exploration of the myriad of colours and textures of these coastlines has led her create a collection of bold and striking enamelled jewellery.
